Looking to purchase a new phone? The Asus ROG Phone 8 series is now available at Vijay Sales in India. Both the Asus ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro models are available for purchase in Indian retail stores.
These gaming smartphones were first unveiled at CES 2024 and later launched in the Indian market. Both handsets in the ROG Phone 8 series are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, have an IP68 rating for water resistance and come with a 5,000mAh battery.
Additionally, these handsets support the company’s Aeroactive Cooler X snap-on cooling fan.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Series Price 2024 in India
The Asus ROG Phone 8 comes in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is priced at Rs. 94,999. On the other hand, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is more expensive, priced at Rs. 1,19,999, and comes with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
It also includes an Aeroactive Cooler X cooling fan and is available in Phantom Black color. Both of these handsets can be purchased in India through Asus’ retail partner, Vijay Sales.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Series Specifications
The latest addition to the ROG Phone 8 series, created by the Taiwan-based technology company Asus, features Android 14 and the company’s own ROG UI. Both phones come with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Samsung AMOLED LTPO display, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The display has a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.
The phones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip and offer an LPDDR5X RAM option of up to 24GB maximum. Both the Asus ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro come with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 1/1.56-inch primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 32MP sensor. These handsets also feature a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 series offers a massive storage capacity of up to 1TB and supports various connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.
Both phones are equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. In addition to this, there’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The phones are powered by 5,000mAh batteries that support fast charging up to 65W using Qi 1.3 wireless charging.
The high-end model of the phone comes with the company’s Aeroactive Cooler X cooling fan. These handsets measure 163.8×76.8×8.9mm, weigh 225g, and have an IP68 rating for water resistance.
