Ola Electric recently launched a new variant of their electric scooter, the S1 X 4 kWh. With this model, riders can enjoy a range of 190 km on a single charge, making it the only scooter in the S1X lineup with a 4 kWh battery pack.
The S1 X 4 kWh uses the same mechanism as the S1X 3 kWh, with an electric motor that produces 6 kW (8 bhp) and can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. This scooter can travel at a maximum speed of 90 kmph and has three riding modes, including Eco, Normal, and Sports modes.
Ola has confirmed that deliveries of the S1 X 2 kWh and 3 kWh variants will begin in April, and that deliveries of the new S1X 4 kWh variant will also begin in April. The company is currently accepting bookings for this top-of-the-line variant.
Ola Electric Mobility Limited has recently announced its plans to expand its service network from 400 to 600 outlets by April 2022. Additionally, the company intends to set up 10,000 fast chargers by the same time. Furthermore, Ola Electric has launched a warranty program for its electric scooters.
The S1 Air and S1 Pro come with an 8-year or 80,000 km warranty on their battery packs. For an additional ₹5,000, customers can get an extended warranty of up to 1 lakh km. And for an extended warranty of 1.25 lakh km, customers will need to pay Rs. 12,500.
