The Education Department has agreed to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and District Selection Committee (DSC) in Andhra Pradesh. The notifications for the same will be released tomorrow. It has been decided to conduct AP TET and DSC exams separately.
The applications for AP TET will be accepted from February 1, and the exam schedule will be decided based on the applications received. If there is a huge number of applications, the examination may take up to 15 days to conduct. The government will accept applications for DSC and conduct the exams for 10-15 days along with TET.
The Department of Education has recently released a guideline related to TET (AP TET). The TET is being conducted to provide an opportunity for those who have completed D.E.D and B.E.D in the DSC notification during 2022 and 2023.
The AP TET notification was last released in August 2022 in the state, and around 4.50 lakh people applied and wrote the exam, out of which approximately 2 lakh candidates qualified. It is estimated that this time, around 5 lakh people will appear for TET (AP TET).
